Returns Policy
To ensure clarity and protect your interests, please review the returns policy below before submitting a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) request. Items Damaged in Transit
Inspect your goods immediately upon delivery for any signs of damage or shortages. If an item is damaged in transit, please notify us within 2 days of delivery. If the damage is visible upon receipt, make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note stating that the goods are "DAMAGED" and, where possible, take photographic evidence of the damaged box and the product inside.
Returned items must include:
- Original packaging
- All original boxes, packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories, and manufacturer-provided documentation
Once the damaged item is returned to us, we will issue a replacement. Please note that if we find the item has not been returned in accordance with this policy, we may not be able to provide a replacement.
Items Faulty on Arrival
If your item is faulty upon arrival, notify us within 30 calendar days of receipt. Returned items must include all original packaging, along with any accompanying materials such as manuals, warranty cards, and documentation.
Once we receive the faulty product, we will test it. If the fault is confirmed, we will issue a replacement. However, if our technicians determine that the item is not faulty, it will be returned to you, and you may be required to cover the return shipping costs.
Items Faulty Within Warranty Period
For faults that arise after 30 calendar days but within the warranty period, you are entitled to a repair under warranty. If a repair is not possible, we may, at our discretion, replace the item with one of similar or better specifications or provide store credit.
Please note, replacement or store credit is entirely at CCTV Wise Ltd's discretion.
Open-Box Items
Open-box items purchased from CCTV Wise are sold with a 90-day warranty . Any claims made after this period will not be accepted. Returns for open-box items must comply with all stated return conditions, including the inclusion of all original packaging and accessories.
Changed Your Mind
CCTV Wise Ltd offers a 30-day cooling-off period for returns (this does not apply to consumables or bespoke services). If you decide to return an item during this period, please inform us within 30 working days of receipt. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Once we receive the item, we will issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Note: This policy may include certain limitations and may not apply to business customers.
General Terms
- An RMA number must be obtained before returning any product. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping carton.
- Items with cut cables, modifications, or items that have been misused or damaged (e.g., due to incorrect power supply usage) will not be covered under warranty or accepted for return.
- Customers are responsible for freight charges for returning products and must ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during shipping. CCTV Wise Ltd is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend ensuring your return package and using a service with tracking and proof of delivery.
- Returned items must be in their original condition, including original packaging, boxes, manuals, warranty cards, accessories, and any other documentation. Missing items may result in delays or rejection of the request.
